102 Friday 6-9 What Happened in Class

The instructor collected Pt. 2 of the research paper and returned Pt. 1.

We discussed Langan and how much the completed book will count toward the grade. We looked at the syllabus and determined that the Langan will be 15 of the 25 class participation points.

We talked about stage directions and what function they serve in a play read as literature. We also discussed the play we saw last week and the instructor talked about McCarthyism. We looked at a PowerPoint that showed pictures from that time.

We went through a handout the instructor provided called "A Dozen Things I Know About Writing."

We did peer readings of the drama paper. While students were doing the peer readings, the instructor read Pt. 2.

The instructor talked about primary and secondary sources. We saw examples of the George Washington letter that was found at Kean University.
