First we looked at some students' sales letter outlines on the overhead projector.
We talked about the research questionnaire and how it will be placed in the portfolio binder.
We talked about the confusing nature of the class, what with all the various assignments, readings, etc. The instructor clarified by telling students this is a "broad overview" class and to not worry about knowing the details, just the major highpoints.
We talked about the tests and how they will count toward the final grade. They are a test of reading, not the actual score.
