The instructor discussed Greek theater. She also talked about what was going to be on the quiz in two weeks (Oct. 31).

We then looked at Ch. 7 in Lester and went through how to introduce evidence into the paper. We looked at direct and indirect quote and also paraphrase and summary. The instructor said she would be bringing exercises to assist on this next week.
The instructor discussed person consistency and gave students strategies to eliminate the second person from their papers.
We started work on the use of the colon. We were able to do one exercise and will finish the worksheet and Powerpoint next week.
