Flash Class 1

List of exercises.

We did an exercise in posting a Flash video on an html page. Unfortunately there were complications, as some students' files turned into another type of file. The instructor will go over this exercise and refine it. It will be distributed to students at a later date as a take-home exercise.

We did a tour of Flash. There is a .ppt associated with the tour which students can go over a second time. The link is posted in the links section of this blog.

We learned how to re-size the stage, how to play an animation, and save a Flash file.

At our next class, we will work from Ch. 2 and learn how to create simple drawings.

Dreamweaver Class

Our files we saved did not display correctly, so we went through the final few steps on the layout chapter using the "Finished" file.

We did the tutorial at the end of the forms chapter. We didn't get it finished. We will finish it at another class.

We saved tutorial handouts for the students who could not be in class tonight.

Next week Flash class starts. Students should try to have their Flash CS5 book. For the next class, students should read the Flash chapter in the Dreamweaver book.
