Writing 102 9-12:15 p.m.

In our final class, we listened to poetry presentations and worked on converting our MLA research paper to APA format.

First we went through two worksheets that told the differences between MLA and APA.

Then we heard two poetry round tables on Langston Hughes--jazz poetry and blues poetry.

In the last hour of class we worked on the paper, which is to be e-mailed to the instructor by Dec. 21st.  Students are to mail to the UCC address.

In addition to the work on the conversion, the instructor went over attendance. Some students who missed .23 of the class will be able to make up the hours missed in class by doing exercises on writershelp.

End of class dates:

Conversion of research paper from MLA to APA to be mailed to instructor by Fri., Dec. 21.  UCC address.

Papers returned to students:  Wed., Dec. 19. Students should pick up at the instructor's email box and leave a personal note stating they took their paper.
Due to privacy issues, no grades will be put on the papers. The instructor will email each student their research paper grade. This email will arrive on Thurs., Dec. 20. All papers must be removed from the box by Fri., Dec. 21.
