Instructor went over previous class activities and then lectured on power and communication. We went into communication pairs to discuss short-term conflict resolution:
separation
domination
compromise
integrative agreements
structural improvements
After that we did an exercise on "opening the door to collaboration." We wrote collaborative statements and discussed them with the group.
Students turned in their field trip and the instructor also took the media theory papers.
Students were assigned to read and complete the workbook on Chapter 12, Relationships in the Workplace.
