More introductions today.

On Friday we will check in notebook work. In today's class, the instructor went over which parts of the workbook to do.  Come to class prepared to have your work checked off and scores entered. If you had problems getting your book, let the instructor know and you will be able to get your points next week.

To Do for Next Class:

Ch. 1 in the workbook.


Mon., Sept. 9

We did three-minute introduction speeches. The instructor taught a technique for remembering names. We practiced the technique during class and several students could name everyone who was introduced.

On Wed., we will do more introductions.

On Fri., we will finish any introductions that are left and we will go over key terms for Ch. 1 using the film clips that come with the text.

Assignment:

Read Ch. 1 and do the corresponding workbook chapter. Do only the sections specified in the syllabus (see grading section).
