We did the notebook check-in.
Next we finished our MLA citation from the LION database. The instructor showed students how to access the databases from the library link. She told them what literary criticism is and then showed them how to access criticism of a fiction piece.
Next class:
Add the MLA citation of a literary piece to your Works Cited. In addition to the literary piece, correct the errors that your colleague marked for you in our last class.
Consult the topics at the list at left under links. The instructor will bring other topics for the research paper and we will select topics at our next class.

We attempted to determine how many classes had been missed.
The instructor passed out an assignment sheet to get students started on MLA (Modern Language Association) citation. The assignment requires students to obtain certain types of references and put them in alphabetical order for the Works Cited page.
The instructor showed students how to do a citation.
At our next class, we will correct the citations in class. The instructor will also show students how to access the academic databases.
