1. Complete body of paper with transitions and transitional phrases. Highlight them.
2. Write a brief summary of the main points of your paper (like my example) and put it right before your conclusion. Highlight it.
3. Choose an introduction strategy:
4. At writershelp, do the exercises on introductions. By the time you have finished them, you will see many options for introductions with thesis statements.This exercise is under "Placing the thesis statement in the introduction" and is entitled "Exercise: Introductions."
5. Write your introduction and put it on your paper. Of course, I will be happy to review anyone's intro if you send it via email.
6. Now read conclusions at writershelp. I will post specifics of what to read later.
7. Write your conclusion to the paper.
8. I will later post a link here for the poetry quiz. Complete the quiz.
