We switched from research discussions to presentation. We reviewed presentation issues by going through a handout "The Quick Guide to Public Speaking." It was intended to review the points of public speaking that students have learned thus far.
Introduction speech feedback forms were returned.
Students turned in the point they wrote for the body of the presentation for the technical speech. They were turned in as a group.

Read: "Understanding Your Nervousness," 10-17.
If we don't have another snowstorm, we will do an exercise in class where we practice focusing eye contact on the audience while talking about function in a technical illustration.
