Fri., Jan 30:

Remainder of introduction speeches:  Maya, Nina, and Kyle did introductions.

The instructor showed students how to download the Adobe e-book reader.

Demonstration speech (hard copy) handout will be given at the next class. If you would like to see it in advance, it is in the links section to the right.

In class we formed into small groups and each group elected a recorder. The small .groups will be used in other parts of the class in the future.  Each small group brainstormed individual "how to" tasks and we then shared them with the class.


To do for next class:

Read:  "Understanding Your Nervousness," 10-17.

At the next class, we will finish voting on topics and discuss the outline. If time permits, we will begin discussion on how to control nervousness in the public speaking experience.
