Wednesday: We worked through Section VII of the syllabus. Students will receive 25 class participations points for each book/web site they show a receipt for at Friday's class.

Wednesday: We worked through Section VIII of the syllabus. In addition, the instructor floated her idea about a grade per class (see links below). We tried a sample quiz. Students voted to give this idea a try. If we like it, we'll keep it. If not, we will abandon it and go back to the midterm/final scenario.
