We had a poetry presentation on the confessional poetry genre. Roman took us through Robert Lowell's "Skunk Hour."
The instructor returned papers with corrections.
Next the instructor talked about titles. There was a .ppt. After watching the .ppt, students wrote a title with a benefit. Then they wrote subheads for the paper. The mechanics of titles (capitalization) was also taught.
The instructor then showed students how to write the literature (research) review. The following two questions will help students write this section:
1) who are the major researchers in the field of research that is being discussed?
2) what did the major studies find?

Complete the paper, putting in corrections and feedback provided by the instructor. Bring the paper to class on Tues., May 3. Papers will also be accepted on the night of the play (April 28). There is no class on Thursday.
