Monday
There was a reading check on Ch's 4 and 9.
We watched the film "Helvetica," or at least an hour of it. There will be a quiz and it is on April 20.
In our next class, the instructor will give students a font assignment. In the meantime, students should think of a quote, music lyrics, or a company slogan with logo that they would like to use for their font assignment.
Students turned in their coupon assignment, their reading check, the radio commercial, and some turned in a revised tv commercial.
The instructor remarked that only about half the class was able to do the resampling assignment. We will go over it again at the next class.

Find a quote or other text per above
Look on your computer and see how many fonts you have that resemble Helvetica. Type out a sample sentence and print it out. Also print out a sample sentence in Zapf Chancery (if you have it on your system).
