The instructor returned Pts 1 & 2. Students read their corrections and there was time to ask for clarification.
Next we discussed person consistency, which, as explained, is really "point-of-view" consistency. There was a worksheet and the instructor put an example of second-person usage on the overhead doc cam. We looked at it and re-wrote different versions in class.
Diana gave her poetry roundtable, which was on ee cummings. Christian began discussion of his Langston Hugues poem.
At our next class, we will have roundtables by Christian, Emily, and Maria.

We read an example of what the instructor considers to be an "A" research paper.
Poetry roundtables: Dana and ChaVonne delivered their poetry roundtables.
On Thursday, Christian will host his roundtable. Diana, Emily, and Sindy are also scheduled for Thursday.
