Today we turned in the radio script and Part A of the Account Management assignment.
The instructor introduced the last assignment, which is to design an outdoor board or visual display. Toward that end, the instructor showed students a .ppt that featured various kinds of outdoor boards and displays. As a class, we determined what the client was selling (in terms of a unique selling proposition).
Next we broke into brainstorming groups. The instructor went over the highlights of how such a group works (no idea is a bad idea). Students worked with their colleagues to work out possible display ideas.

We went over flyer issues. The instructor returned the youtube assignment.
We went over Ch. 10 narrated slides from the text. We have a few to finish at the next class.

Dec. 3: radio ad, Part A of sales call
Dec. 10: Outdoor/visual display. Personal sales call result, Part B
Dec. 16: Any newspaper ad sold is due to Eileen at the Comm Office
Dec. 17: Final portfolio due; students will watch Helvetica, Instructor will grade and return portfolios at this class.
