The instructor gave a demonstration using Jennifer's paper and Jennifer "tweaked" the headline until it was to her liking. Students were given time to write their title and subheads in class.
Next we had two poetry roundtables. One was on a Jamaican poem written in patois (Shelleta.). After that we read Tennyson's poetry and papers by Shelia.
Finally the instructor went over the next week's assignment, which is to re-write the MLA citation page in APA style. In addition students are to take one page of their paper and re-write the internal text citations in APA.
I received this email from campus security:
Those of you, who park on Sterling Street near the Kellogg building in Elizabeth are being made aware that the City of Elizabeth has installed a pay for parking kiosk for all street parking spaces. The City of Elizabeth will enforce the parking regulations on all street parking spaces.
I called the Parking Authority and they said they are enforcing the meters until late in the day, 5 or 6 p.m.
